Assemble the Recipe Card:

1. Cut out a shape from the printed fabric. We choose the oven mitt.

2. Lay the shape on the recipe card. Starting at the bottom of the fabric shape, sew line across the shape. We kept sewing up the recipe card in a curved line for an embellishment.

TIP: Don't sew all the way across the recipe card. The stitch lines act like a perferation line and can cause the recipe card to rip.

Materials for whisk recipe card:

  • Recipe card

  • 1" circle punch
  • Embroidery floss

Assemble the Recipe Card:

recipe card

1. Cut out two shapes from the printed fabric. This fabric had a circle shape, but any two cute shapes look nice!

2. Punch a 1" circle from cardstock. Write a "from" message on the circle.

3. Layer your shapes with the circle on top. Use a needle and matching embroidery floss to sew through all three shapes and the recipe card. Tie the floss in a bow.
